Dukate Building Company was started in 2003  by Brent Dukate.  Brent, who recently retired from  teaching, has been involved in construction since working summers and holidays on a framing crew in 1998.   His love for new home construction led Brent to work as a finish carpenter.   In 2003 at the urging of his Uncle Butch Brown, the CEO of Cumberland Construction Corporation, Brent started building custom homes in Brookside.   Over the next several years Brent built homes in Brookside and Bridgecreek with Cumberland Construction and Dukate Building Company.   Over the next 18 years Brent  tried to implement the lessons of his mentor Tim Brown, VP of Cumberland Construction, who taught him to treat every home he builds like it was going to be his own. Whether it’s a custom home or spec home we try and deliver our absolute best for each home we build.
